Application Specialist

We currently have an open position for an Application Specialist to cover Europe, Middle East, and Asia (EMEA).  Candidate would be located in our corporate office in Tumba, Sweden.  Position reports to Steridose Vice-President.

Job description:

• Provide technical support to customers, distributors, representatives, and sales force.
• Provide application support regarding selection and recommended use of equipment.
• Put together technical bid packages.
• Attent table tops and trade shows in the assigned territory, but not limited to it.
• Develop and perform technical presentations, Lunch & Learns, and training sessions for end-users, OEM's, A&E's, representatives and sales force in the assigned territory, but not limited to it.
• Provide technical assistance off-site and on-site to end-users, including support at FAT's and SAT's.
• Aid in the diagnosis of problems with installed equipment.
• Provide application information to Engineering for design of new products and special options.
• Travel up to 70% of time.

Desired skills & exerpience:
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and goal oriented, has excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, is highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.  Minimum 5 years experience in similar position within the hygienic industry, technical background in process equipment and applications, degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (preferable).
